This exhibition is organized by Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Italian Ministry of cultural assets and activity for Italian contemporary artists, being part of the 54th edition of the International Art Exhibition Venice Biennale.

CECCO BONANOTTE’s work, “Confrontation” in 1993, 3.2 meters high is installed at the entrance of the Italian Cultural Institute. It’s the one transported from Italy.

These artists have been selected by a committee chaired by the commissioner of the Italian Pavilion, Prof. Vittorio Sgarbi. Scenery of this exhibition will be open to public in the Italian Pavilion of Venice Biennale, held from June to November and also on the official website.



At present, HIRO GALLERY IZUKOGEN is holding the exhibition, “Il mondo di CECCO BONANOTTE,” in the 19th Izukogen Art Festival until May 31st [Tue.], 2011.

Nerima Art Museum is now holding an exhibition, “PLATFORM2011 / Ryo HAMADA, Kehei KOBAYASHI, Daisuke SAMAJIMA.”

Ordinary scenes that surround human are packed in his work, “Flat Ball.” The motifs of the work are very common sceneries. But depicting the every direction, the works generate certain extraordinariness.
